Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI) recently announced a Php 5.6 billion net income for the first quarter of 2015, reaching almost the same number as in the same period in 2014. Consolidated revenues were posted at Php32.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 5%, while net income attributable to the company displayed a 4% increase to Php 3.5 billion.
“Our consumer-centric businesses – real estate development, food and beverage manufacturing and distribution, integrated tourism development, and quick-service restaurants – all showed profitability in the first three months of this year. They all maintained their strong positions in their respective industries,” AGI president and chief operating officer Kingson U. Sian said.
According to AGI, their majority-owned companies delivered strong numbers from January to March of 2015. Just recently, property brand Megaworld reported a net income of Php 2.3 million and announced their plan to have 20 townships by the end of the year. And Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., the hotel, entertainment and food & beverage company that co-owns Resorts World Manila, delivered a net income of Php 1.7 billion.
“Our companies are all paving the way for future growth that will ultimately increase shareholder value," Sian added.
