Botched operation scared away investors
According to Mohamad Omar Pasigan, the recent botched operation in southern Mindanao has scared foreign investors from Jordan, Singapore, and Malaysia. The president of the Bangsamoro Business Club claims that these potential foreign investments in real estate and agriculture would have been worth billions of pesos.

Ayala Land Inc. awarded Best Developer Overall in the Philippines
The award for Best Developer Overall in the Philippines was once again given to Ayala Land Inc. by Euromoney in its Real Estate Awards 2014. The developer giant also topped Euromoney polls as the country’s Best Residential Developer, Best Office/Business Developer, Best Mixed Developer and Best Retail Developer.

Puregold expands to Nueva Ecija
Retail tycoon’s Lucio Co’s Puregold Price Club Inc. is expanding to Nueva Ecija and other provinces in Central and North Luzon by acquiring supermarkets and commercial properties owned by Nueva Ecija-based retailer NE Inc.
Puregold announced yesterday that it acquired nine supermarkets from NE located in Cabanatuan and San Jose, Nueva Ecija; Baliwag, Bulacan; Baler, Aurora and Santiago, Isabela.

Concrete flooring of a condominium on-going construction collapses
The concrete flooring of a condominium undergoing construction in Taguig collapsed Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at The Suites construction site in Bonifacio Global City according to Taguig police chief Senior Supt. Arthur Asis.
The incident killed two construction workers while 11 others were injured.

Villar group gearing up for retail industry
Real estate tycoon Manny Villar’s All Value Holdings Corp. is preparing to fully get in to retail after gaining positive results from its first supermarket venture in the flagship Starmall in Edsa Shaw. His upcoming supermarket chain would be called All Day Supermart.
