Property giant Megaworld bagged the title “Overall Outstanding Developer” among other recognitions at the recently concluded 2015 Property & Real Estate Awards. The event also recognized the company’s chairman and CEO Andrew Tan as the “Property Man of the Year”.
Megaworld also received the “Outstanding Developer for Office” award for 8 Campus Place, the first LEED Gold-certified business process outsourcing (BPO) building in the Philippines. Another honor, the “Outstanding Developer for Townships/Mixed-use Communities”, was given to the real estate brand for Eastwood City, the country’s first PEZA-accredited cyberpark for IT-BPO.
“We build cities within cities. We establish CBDs from one city to another. We help businesses grow as they provide more jobs for more Filipinos. We help build people’s dreams for a better life in every community that we create. This is the future of the Philippine real estate industry,” Tan said.
Organized by the Philippine chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the Property & Real Estate Awards recognizes the accomplishments of property developers and their contribution to the country’s real estate industry.
