Megaworld's GERI believes a 'unique selling proposition' and 'Beverly Hills-inspired theme' led to the brisk sales of the residential lots in Alabang West.
Megaworld’s subsidiary Global Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI) reported a high demand for lots in their Beverly Hills-inspired township Alabang West, urging the tourism estate developer to proceed with another phase of the village.
Upon the official launch of Alabang West in October 2014, says GERI VP for sales and marketing Rachelle Peñaflorida, the fast take-up of the first two phases prompted them to begin selling another phase of residential lots. GERI revealed that during the last quarter of the previous year, nearly half of the 788 residential lots were sold, leading to the generation of Php 5 billion in sales for Megaworld.
“We expect land prices in Alabang West to rise by 25 to 30 percent this year from its launch price last year,” Peñaflorida said, adding that they expect the remaining lots to be sold out before the end of the first quarter of 2015.
Alabang West is a 62-hectare township to rise along Daang Hari Road in Las Piñas City. Aside from the high-end residential village said to cater to “elite clients”, Alabang West will also feature a street patterned after Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive.
