Find out who Andrew Tan challenged to do the same.
Even property giants are jumping onto the bandwagon for a good cause.
Megaworld Corporation chairman and CEO Andrew Tan is one of the latest to join the wave of individuals taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge, which aims to raise awareness and money for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Also known as Lou Gherig's disease, ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle spasm and atrophy; difficulty in speaking, swallowing, and speaking; and even death.
As per tradition, Tan good-naturedly accepted a bucket of ice water to the head after promising to donate money to the cause.
The business tycoon also challenged three other corporate bigwigs to do the same thing within 24 hours: Asian Institute of Management president Steven DeKrey, Accenture country director Lito Tayag and McDonald's Philippines president Kenneth Yang.
Messrs. DeKrey, Tayag, and Yang, the ball (or bucket) is in your court now.
