The new advocacy of Filinvest, #IOwnMyDream, empowers Filipinos to dream for a better life and to work hard to make their dreams a reality with their dream advocate Richard Yap.
Property giant Filinvest Land kicked off the second leg of their “I OWN MY DREAM” caravan and property festival last September 17, 2015, at The Block, SM City North EDSA. The campaign #IOwnMyDream aims to empower Filipinos to dream and to strive hard for a brighter future for themselves and for their families. Helping them with the campaign is their new dream advocate and “Be Careful with My Heart” star, Richard Yap.
Filinvest started the campaign with performances from winners of “Filinvest Got Talent.” Richard Yap then took the stage, where he related his humble beginnings and what got him to do something not only for himself but also for his family.
“I believe it is never too late for anything. I started when I was 30 years old. It is not too late to try and start something new,” Yap said. He believes that any Filipino can reach for their dreams as long as you are not only with the right people but also people that you want to work with. He added that doing something for your dreams coupled with your trusted people is the perfect combination for achieving your goals and dreams in life.
When Yap learned about Filinvest’s advocacy “I OWN MY DREAM” that aims to inspire Filipinos to work and do something for their dreams, he was elated. “I knew at once that I wanted to be part of this campaign. I really believe in dreams. Personally, my dreams and goals are what drive me to work harder for my loved ones. I’m grateful to Filinvest for giving me the opportunity to spread this positive message to others,” he enthused.
Filinvest believes Richard Yap, who gained national fame when he was cast in “My Binondo Girl,” will truly serve as an inspiration for others to work hard, and to those who are already working hard to achieve their dreams.
“Richard started out like many of us, a husband and a father who only wanted to provide the best for his family,” Filinvest senior vice president Francis V. Ceballos said of the actor and family man. “Now, he is enjoying the fruits of his efforts and a flourishing acting career even with a relatively late start. He is definitely an inspiration that dreams can come true at any age.”
To further support this advocacy, Filinvest launched a website, www.iownmydream.com.ph, where Filipinos can inspire others to also dream and work on their dreams. Dream quotes, stories, videos and dream homes under Filinvest are available for those who visit the website.
The caravan started at Festival Supermall in Alabang last August to reach out and help more Filipinos attain their dreams and build their own homes. With this second leg, Filinvest hopes to help achieve dreams with the brand’s projects and developments located in Quezon City, Pasig City, Valenzuela City, North Luzon, and in the province of Rizal.
The Filinvest Property Festival, which highlights projects from Futura Homes and Filinvest Premiere, will run until September 23 at SM North EDSA’s The Block.
