This SMDC sales newbie believes SMDC can play a part in helping him to start building his future.
As someone who’s fresh out of college, Allan Jake S. Agoyaoy is still finding his way around the workforce. He believes in being practical when it comes to searching for a career, citing finances as his main motivation for finding a work and his family as his inspiration for pushing himself to go far. This is why when he got a call from SMDC offering a job, he didn’t hesitate to jump at the opportunity.
“Sa lahat ng napasahan ko, mabilis nag-respond yung SMDC,” he explained. He also noted the attraction of a sizeable commission as a huge factor in taking on the challenge of being an SMDC sales agent. “Na-catch yung attention ko na malaki yung posibilidad na malaki ang maitulong ko sa pamilya ko.”
He admitted not knowing a lot about SMDC when he first applied for a job with the real estate giant, revealing he had to go online to learn about the company and what they do. Now, he’s currently on his fourth month with SMDC and is selling Chateau Elysee, a condo development located in Better Living, Parañaque.
He believes SMDC’s biggest selling point is the ideal location of their various development. “Yung Shore (Residences) kasi, malapit sa MOA. Yung Jazz naman, nasa Makati siya, which is the center of business,” he said.
He also cites some unique features of SMDC’s projects that make them popular among prospective buyers. Shore, for instance, has a man-made beach. The design aesthetic of Air Residences, on the other hand, is inspired by the Armani Hotel in Dubai.
One of the things that he likes as an agent who’s still wet behind the ears is the fact that SMDC’s been able to reach his goals so far. “(Since) first work ko ito, dito ako kumukuha ng pangsimula ko,” he shared.
When asked if he’d like to work with SMDC for a long time, he says as long as he can keep selling, he’s eager to see what a future with the company looks like for him.
