Townhouses are some of the most common house types in the Philippines. Here’s a list of the ones that stand out.

A townhouse can be described as a tall and narrow house that usually has two or more floors to maximize floor area. Most of the time, these properties are constructed side by side, each sharing walls with one or two units, and may or may not have a parking area for cars.

Once regarded as mere transition homes (small and cramped and purchased only to have a place to live while saving for the dream house), townhouses now have sizes and amenities that can rival the best single-family houses and condominium units in the market today. Many are also situated in prime areas close to central business districts, the best schools, and leisure areas, making them excellent options to those scouting for the ideal urban dwelling.
