Dasmariñas: More Than Just a Bedroom Community

Officially the largest city in Cavite in terms of population, Dasmariñas has been for many years a popular “bedroom community” of Metro Manila. Thousands of its residents commute and work to the capital’s business districts, which led to the huge—and still growing—number of subdivisions and gated communities in the city, elevating its economy. As one of Cavite’s fastest-growing local government units (LGUs), Dasmariñas hosts a large number of industries and businesses.
