When one mentions condominiums in Mandaluyong, what immediately come to mind are high-rise properties and skyscrapers in Ortigas Center. In fact, the business district is so synonymous to Mandaluyong that most online property-hunters would assume that the two locations are one and the same.
This could not be farther from the truth. Although a great number of Mandaluyong condo properties are in fact in Ortigas Center, including One Shangri-La Place, St. Francis Shangri-La Place, and BSA Twin Towers, among others, a number of prime locations in the city are also home to some notable condo complexes.
Pioneer Street and Boni Avenue Area
Located within walking distance of MRT-3’s Boni Avenue Station, this area hosts a number of high-profile projects that offer plenty of condos for sale. Most notable of them include SMDC’s Light Residences, a three-tower condo complex with a mall podium; Empire East’s Pioneer Woodlands; and GA Towers, all of which are situated along EDSA.
Over at Pioneer Street and neighboring areas are a number of condo developments, including One Gateway Place, Gateway Regency, Axis Residences, Pioneer Highlands, and Pioneer Pointe, while over at Reliance Street one would find DMCI Homes’ Flair Residences and Avida Towers Centera, while currently in the development stage is SMDC’s is Fame Residences.
Touted as a smart, techie city offering more affordable condo properties than Ortigas Center is Greenfield District, a mixed-use development that boasts BPO offices, retail spaces, and high-rise condo developments. Among the high-profile condo towers found here include Soho Central, Twin Oaks Place, and Zitan Residences.
This busy thoroughfare serves as a connection between Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Manila, and along this busy stretch one would find a number of popular condo developments. They include Amaia Skies Shaw, 8 Wack Wack Road, Lee Gardens, and The Address at Wack Wack, among others. Although these individual condo projects are not part of larger, mixed-use developments, they are conveniently located being close to both Ortigas Center and downtown Mandaluyong City.
The Coronado Street area of Mandaluyong is home to two high-profile condo projects: Tivoli Garden Residences, which is a five-tower project of DMCI Homes; and Acqua Private Residences, a six-tower, resort-inspired condo project of Century Properties. Once completed, Acqua’s sixth tower will become the Philippines’ first Novotel-branded residences.
Aside from these locations, Mandaluyong also has a number of areas that offer plenty of condo properties for sale. These condo projects include Empire East’s California Garden Square Condominium and DMCI Homes’ Dansalan Gardens, both of which are located near Mandaluyong’s City Hall and Boni Avenue.
